About the Artist
Andrea Walker is a nationally recognized fine artist and art educator who creates realistic paintings and drawings, and she specializes in still lifes and portraits.
Her artwork was juried into the American Watercolor Society and Ohio Watercolor Society in 2025, and she was awarded First Place at the Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society Annual Show in 2025. She is also an Elected Artist Member of the American Artists Professional League in New York City. Andrea's work is featured in curated publications, international juried exhibitions, and private collections throughout the US. Andrea earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and she now lives and works in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

Andrea's artistic approach to contemporary realism incorporates attention to detail, strong design, traditional techniques, and a realistic rendering of light and texture through many layers. She is known for both her black & white and color artwork. Andrea focuses on watercolor and pastel, but also enjoys working with a variety of mediums.
Andrea has led demos and workshops across the US and Canada, including with the Watercolor Society of Indiana, the Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society, the Colored Pencil Society of America, and the Savannah College of Art and Design where she is a SCAD Mentor. Andrea is also proud to be a Brand Ambassador for Holbein, Legion Paper, and General Pencil. When she is not in the studio, she is most likely sketching at a local coffeeshop or exploring the outdoors with her husband and golden retriever.
